    NDB Bank is Appalling

    We went to NDB Pitakotte to check my father’s savings account after he had passed away. Branch told us that the account had no nominees. That was wrong. branch cant see the nominee. they asked Head office and we never got informed by the branch until weeks later after we have done all paperwork as if the account had no nominee. Total waste of our time.

    Bank staff have no clear instructions or a valid process to handle a deceased account. they do and say what they feel like.
    we filled the forms the way NDB Branch staff told us to. But head office says that is wrong and all 3 people need to sign on the same stamp in front of a JP. what a waste of time.

    Bank asked us to get a letter from Grama Niladhari. But Grama Niladhari refused to issue such a letter. He said the bank does not know the current process.

    ANDB bank is an absolutely horrible place.

    Today my credit card got deducted an annual fee for sms purposely which is ok. But the service ? not acceptable. They do not sending the monthly sms properly with the minimum due amount that i have to pay. I have to contact the call center and get the details. .no PIN number given. What they said is i have to hand over a letter to the closest bank to get the PIN number. Usually other banks sending a temporary PIN number and you may change the PIN number through the ATM. if you transfer some money to the credit card still you can’t get the usual credited sms. you have to contact again the call center and double check with them only and you can re confirm. i’m not reccomand to any one as this is very poor service.

    NDB kotahena branch – Have been waiting for exactly one hour just to withdraw cash over the counter. Just one counter is working for the whole area and waste of time in a private bank. Super poor service.

    There is a charge for everything

    opened a current account for my company. everything done via the neos app has a charge. we put our money, do transactions and the bank deducts something for everything. they take our money invest and profit from it, yet they want every penny squeezed! damn banks
