All the banks are encouraging the customers to use internet banking including seylan bank. seylan bank charged 30/- per one transection. Now seylan bank start to looting customers money by changing 750/- annual fee for Internet banking. when i talked to them they said that this is for annual maintaines fee. Just imagine if they having 1 million customers how mush looting…

Wosrt banking experience I have ever experienced in my life time. Seylan bank Matale service is useless than the matale government banks. No customer service staff.. after satying hours in a que they say go to another counter.. and again need to be in that que.. Only bank charge for new pass book.. even they dont issue loan statement for personal loans.. for a statement they charge Rs 1000/= not even bother about customers..useless bank .. third class service.. only well dressd staff without quality and service training.. I never recomend seylan bank for anyone ..

This is about Ceylan bank Bandarawela branch. Just went to covert my account to an adult account. Most of the employees are arrogant with the customers. A really bad experience. Will withdraw all money and cancel the account.

i have been using seylan bank for my freelance works and using there debit card for my online payments. even foreign clients payments deposited directly to bank as remittance. until account created and first amount deposited they do care about customer. after service is really bad, i have recently noticed they are looting peoples money from bank account reasoning several tariff charges.even they charge highest tariffs consider to other banks.worst bank i have worked with so far. Really disappointed and even account closing process is complex and they charge when we close our account. I’m really depressed with what happened. Never open or get service from this bank. Try HNB of commercial, rather better than this looting bank.

Today I went to the Gampaha Branch of the Ceylan Bank to cash a check that was given to me by my business client, so I handed it over to a cashier, but he looked at it and returned it to me and told me it’s a blank check, as I don’t have any experience in cashing a check. I asked what to do, so he told me to call my business partner and started doing his work and didn’t explain to me what to do. After I called customer service and they told me he said it was a blank check because it didn’t have an amount in letters. The cashier didn’t make his time to explain it to me, so the worst customer service I encountered in Sri Lankan bank Seylan Gampaha Branch.
