Uber is a ride hailing app which caters to the transportation requirement of passengers in sri lanka. it has become a common name for the people living in urban areas, due to it’s popularity on these areas.

    tuk drivers travel towards a destination according to the motivation of a company and reached their target. Uber management shows their company’s management error and says that the prize money of their target will not be given to them .This is a big scam and at the same time many tuk drivers are affected by such jobs, and their motivation, efforts and sacrifices are wasted.
    This means drivers are definitely being cheated by Sri Lankan Uber management.Such actions are an example of Uber’s poor governance in Sri Lanka. if the Uber management recognizes their mistakes and rewards each driver for it, it will be considered superior management.

    Items left behind - Vehicle – ABF 7202

    My wife accidentally left her laptop in the three-wheeler she traveled today. Vehicle number ABF 7202. We lodged a police complaint at Dehiwala police station and the police tried to call the driver (Uber does not share the driver’s contact details with the customer) but his phone was turned off. When we enquired about this from the Uber office in Colombo, very casually they replied ‘Many drivers do not return items left behind’. They are least interested in making an effort to help the customer. Pathetic service. NB. I have attached the picture of the driver of the vehicle – ABF 7202

    UBER EATS SRI LANKA: a DIService on first order.

    With almost 40 years of working in the service industry, worldwide and for 5 years here in Sri Lanka, I tend to be very understanding regarding any service issues. But the catalog of issues I had placing my first order with the company proved to be a total DIService. I hope you may have better luck than me if you place and order but I personally would recommend to NOT use their service. Sri Delivery and direct delivery is the way to go I believe. No service available can be worse than what I experienced with UBER EATS, from start, to still awaiting customer service reply.

    worst app ever i met.customer complain handling zero.yesterday i ordered 2 soup.soups were consumed by riders.i paid amount still not update.i complain through uber help still not got a solution.i un iinstalled the app.worst ever.delivery riders worst.

    About taxis

    This has been a good service despite delays in connecting to drivers sometimes. However, wanted to bring the attention of the Uber management on the below observation. Few times I faced this issue, whereas the tuk details shown on the app DO NOT appear but a totally different tuk comes.It anyways reached to my destination, however I personally believe when it comes to SAFETY, people would hesitate to get into a cab, which is not shown on their respective phone. Some of my friends had faced the same issue & some of them had cancelled the cab because it was NOT the same showed on the app.This may lead to different types of issues / crimes in the future ( you never know) & may lose the trust of the customers. Hence heads up it should make sure, the accurate details are given of the Uber taxis/ drivers on the app. Thank you.

    Worst disgusting customer service

    This app has punched on my account for uber one membership.I’ve never accept for kind of that and even the app hasn’t in my mobile at the moment.when I call for the complain bluddy customer service hot line pick the phone and told something even I couldn’t hear well he hanged up the call.I trying till today no bluddy responsible person respond for a call.disgusting

    Scam: Initial Estimate increases at the end of the trip

    The driver asked for a higher rate at the end of the trip than the initial estimate that was shown when I booked… it’s not the driver’s fault, it’s the company’s fault… this happened to me 3 times now (Sri Lanka)

    The worst app I’ve experienced.. No any no to call for a shop either in Uber eats.. today I’ve order a meal but the driver canceled it and I got wasted my money .. he didn’t call me either.. damn this .. and also I’ve payed twice for a trip .. they don’t have any support for several issues.. Worst of worst.. I don’t let any of my colleagues to use this bad app..
