Arpico is one of Sri Lanka’s premier Hypermarket with the ‘All under one roof’ concept. with 12 super centers island wide which are the company’s flagship outlets which has extensive parking, bill payments, banking facilities, lifestyle needs and the widest range of products.
Recently I visited the Attidiya Centre. After paying cash at the checkout for a Rs 20/= balance I was given 10 one rupee coins and 20 cents fifty coins (which I asked them to put in the charity box) as they did not have this in a Rs 20/= note or 2 of Rs 10/= or the staff did not have that need to make it comfortable to the customer.
This is how the staff look at the customer. Further most of the goods are not in good shape after placing our trust in this once well reputed brand. I usually go to this place for all my disposable plastic material requirements. But now this brand has become a ‘disposable’.

Oh the Arpico. This was at the Hyde Park Corner – The cashier staff needs more training – in modern technology, But first this has to come from the leader who also has to have knowledge, specially on HOW TO TAKE PAYMENT FRON A CARD ( CARD PAYMENT) your boys seem to struggle – as he takes the card from the customer (he should not handle a customer card) enters the numbers in the machine ???? and then inserts it in a card machine.
The system is totally incorrect and needs serious reviewing. THATS WHY EVERY CARD HAS A CHIP TO ENABLE THE CUSTOMER TO SCAN IT .
Then the snack outlet is terrible I really don’t know hoe to explain the situation – this has to be experienced by yourself. Hoping for a Arpico which will live to its good name as in the past.

Homagama Supercenter never clean trollies, they can’t move sometimes, as wheels are tight with treads and plastic wraps .
supervisors never attend to this issue ,I reminded at several occasions.

Today went to the Arpico Meegoda , I am a weekly costumer but today cashiers are not good .Im disappointed . Im never go again . Very bad service .

I bought a Richsonic steam iron from Homagama Arpico center on 30th June 2023. Your staff tested and gave it without adding water and when I checked at home I found that water leaked from the Iron.
Then I took it back to the Arpico and made complained then they said that it should be sent for repair and that they would deliver it within 2 weeks. We asked for a new one as we need it daily but they could not give us new one. As I did not receive any response from your company until yesterday, I checked about it and they said that the manufacturer will not repair it and it should be sent to your head office. It was further informed that it would take about 2 months to repair it. I called that importer and they said me that they can repairer it under the Warranty period. Arpico Super Center should aware about it.
An iron is a daily necessity and we don’t have a replacement until it is repaired. At the time we bought it, we asked about it’s warranty and at that time it was not told about such a problem. If your staff had said that the manufacturer would not repair it, we would never buy it. I tried several times to contact them but I they didn’t respond the phone. At least they didn’t inform the current situation regarding our matter.
There are many companies that can provide electronic equipment, but we came to your company because of our confidence in the quality of your service. I am very disappointed about your bad customer service. I never expect this type of service.

All under one roof concept at it’s best, but most items are expensive and only a handful of options at furniture. extremely useful for rush hour shopping. great place, great vibe.
